Now that the weather is a little sunnier it's time to find a way to cool down.
A great way to do this is with ice. At school I take baggies or old margarin containers, fill them with an assortment of toys and fill the containers with water.
Pop those into the freezer and when they are frozen you have a great sensory activity at your disposal.

You can take your frozen blocks outside, pop them into the sink, the bathtub or any pail/container that you have on hand.
If you have empty spray bottles or squirting toys you can spray the ice with water to melt the blocks. You could also use watering cans.
Making and watching the ice melt is super fun but you could also just stack the blocks...see if you can get them to stick to each other to make an ice wall.
Water in it's different forms can seem so simple but can really be so exciting to our little guys.....what a great science experience!
