Felt and fabric pieces provide you with an unlimited amount of exciting activity possibilities.
As we've explored before you can "sew" with felt and fabric pieces but they offer so many more options.
You have children who have endless imaginations so let's give them experiences which will allow this to grow.
At school I use a felt board and felt/fabric pieces to create stories or to have props to sing songs.
Your children love manipulating the pieces and making up their own stories as well as listening to the stories we tell them.
All you need to do is...
- cut out a variety of felt or fabric pieces
- make sure you have different colours, shapes and sized pieces to offer
- use your shapes to create "scenes" on a felt board. If you don't have a felt board then a couch cushion will do quite nicely!
- you can make stories out of your "scenes" or just talk about the different shapes and colours.
