"I Spy"

Let's think outside the box and create our own version of an "I spy" book....but in treasure hunt form.

I started by collecting up a little group of "treasures"....some interesting things your little guys would love to hunt for....then......

• spread your treasures out on a table and take a photo of them on your phone....this is your reference for you and your wee one to see what you have to find.
• next you'll need a larger container filled with something that will hide your collected objects. At school I use a large bin filled with rice but if I didn't want to use something I  would later need for dinner I could use...crumpled paper, bits of old material, socks.....the possibilities are endless....
• hide your treasures in the bin and dig in!
• use your photo reference to see what is left to find.
• to add some extra challenge for our older guys...hunt for something in particular...dig in and feel for that toy car! Did you find it?

I have used a bin filled with all sorts of different textured materials...hide your treasures and dig in!
